Mapleton, Utah
Operator, builder, and craftsman. I've worked in commercial fishing operations, retail, and entrepreneurial endeavors — and I'm building toward more.
I'm from Mapleton, Utah. I've spent my working years putting myself in places that force me to adapt. I jumped from — retail and my own leather shop to commercial fishing support. Each environment has shaped how I think about operations, logistics, and working with people under pressure.
I show up early, keep my workspace clean, and learn the system before trying to change it. I'm the kind of person who figures things out instead of waiting to be told — whether I'm working a floor, running equipment, or building software.
Right now I'm working on Sorted and Fiskr, taking generals at Snow College in Ephraim, and working my way into sales. I put myself in places that challenge me, and I take what I learn to apply it to my future.
Commercial Fishing / Operations
Ground support in Dillingham, Alaska for Trident Seafoods — the largest fishing company in the United States. High-volume, logistically demanding environment during peak season. Taught me how real operations move under pressure and what it costs when they don't.
Retail / Sales
Worked the floor at a hardware store and a farm store. Helped customers find what they needed, answered questions, kept things moving. Straightforward customer-facing work — and a starting point for moving further into sales.
Maintenance on retainer for small business owners
Sorted is a handyman on retainer for small business owners. Instead of calling around every time something breaks at your shop or property and waiting weeks for a callback, you pay a flat monthly fee and someone just shows up, handles it, and leaves. No contracts, no surprises. Just reliable maintenance without the overhead of a full-time hire.
Operations software for commercial fishing companies
Fiskr is built for commercial fishing companies. The industry runs on tight seasons and complex logistics — crew, vessels, catch data, compliance, communication — most of it still managed through spreadsheets and paper. Fiskr brings that into one place. Built from firsthand exposure to how these operations actually run on the ground, working with Trident Seafoods in Dillingham.
Leatherwork — designed and made by hand
Cowhide is a leatherwork brand I started and continue to run. I design and produce goods by hand, from pattern to finished product. It started as a way to develop a skill I cared about and grew into something with its own customers. It reflects the same approach I bring to everything: learn the process, own the result, care about quality at every step.
General education — Ephraim, Utah
Currently taking generals at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. Working through core coursework while keeping the rest of my time focused on building. School is one part of the picture — not the whole thing.
I'm open to new opportunities, partnerships, and conversations. Whether you're looking for someone who can operate, build, or contribute — reach out.
